Britain's Got Talent 2015 starting over 10 million viewers for the first audition

The opening episode of Britain’s Got Talent 2015 started with over 10 million viewers for the first audition.
An average audience of 10.1 million tuned in to the first episode of auditions on ITV as the ninth series kicked off.
The show peaked with over 11 million viewers between 8PM and 9:25PM as the first set of acts went before the judges.

In general the figure is towards the lower end of raw BGT launch night viewing figures but the share of 46% is the second-highest to date, suggesting in general fewer people were watching TV this year.
